Easy to Love
“Easy to love” is a song about self awareness and vulnerability.
The phrase and melody for the beginning of the first verse, “I know I’m not easy to love” came to me on a walk by the ocean. The ocean is my haven where I feel the most. The phrase stuck with me but that was all I had of the song for a while. A few months later, the rest of the song came to me. It is really about how I know that I am not always the easiest person to love, the lyrics talk for themselves.
Swedish music producer and musician Jimmy Lagnefors did the beautiful arrangement for this song and plays on it too. The vocals where recorded in Los Angeles by Dakota Lee Martinez.
